Guests are invited to travel the route                                                                    by land, exploring the rich history, natural beauty,                                                          and local attractions that line the 105-mile corridor,                                                        then reunite with paddlers each evening for                                                                    compelling riverside programs, memorable fireside                                                      talks, and the camaraderie of a shared journey.


From cozy bed & breakfasts to welcoming inns                                                          nestled in picturesque river towns, comfortable                                                          lodging awaits at every stop along the way. Whether                                              cheering paddlers from the riverbank or discovering                                                        the hidden gems of western Pennsylvania's heritage                                                    communities, land companions will find the Epic Allegheny Odyssey every bit as unforgettable from the shore.

US Route 6 travels across 11 countiesin  northern Pennsylvania, including Warren and Forest Counties, forming one of the state’s most historic travel corridors. Once part of one of the nation’s first transcontinental highways, it remains a route rich in heritage, scenic landscapes, and small-town character.

Forest County is one of fifteen counties within the Pennsylvania Lumber Heritage Region, which celebrates Pennsylvania’s rich lumber history and the forests and communities that helped build the nation. Today, visitors can explore scenic landscapes, historic sites, and small towns that share the story of this remarkable timber heritage.

By registering for the Epic Allegheny Odyssey or attending one of the events, I grant the Oil Region Alliance of Business, Industry & Tourism ("ORA") and its contracted service providers the irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to photograph, film, record, and capture my name, likeness, image, voice, and participation, and to use, edit, distribute, and display such materials in any media for promotional, educational, archival, and commercial purposes. All such materials are the sole property of ORA and the contracted service provider, who retain all rights and copyrights, and I waive any right to inspect, approve, or receive compensation for their use. I release and hold harmless ORA, its contracted service providers, employees, partners, and sponsors from all claims arising from the capture or use of such materials, including claims for invasion of privacy, right of publicity, defamation, or copyright infringement. I am at least eighteen (18) years of age, or my parent or legal guardian has registered on my behalf and consents on the same terms. This release is binding on me, my heirs, and assigns.
